The Benefit of Adobe Connect Add-Ins Adobe Connect also offers add-ins for Windows and Microsoft Outlook only which allows meeting hosts to invite participants to a meeting right from Outlook. The goal with the Adobe Connect add-in is to make it easier for those in the user community to set up, invite and run a meeting directly from their email. Adobe Connect (formerly Presedia Publishing System, Macromedia Breeze, and Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro) is a suite of software for remote training, web conferencing, presentation, and desktop sharing. All meeting rooms are organized into 'pods'; with each pod performing a specific role Adobe.
- Jan 19, 2017 When using the Connect add-in to share my Mac's screen, it crashes after about 15 minutes. It seems to be related to having Apple's Keynote app open, but it is hard to pin down. You don't need to be doing anything at the time of the crash — it just happens after about 15 minutes of being open.

- Adobe Connect application for Mac 2019.4.1 is the latest release for the Mac platform and available from May 1, 2019. It is a mandatory update and starting Jun 13th 2019, users will be asked to install the new application under the following circumstances.

The Adobe Connect meeting application offer greater performance and a better overall meeting experience and is required to share your screen in an Adobe Connect meeting. It can be installed before your meeting using the installers below.
For organizations that do not allow their end-users to install the Adobe Connect application the MSI installer is available for IT departments to deploy the application.
If using Firefox on Mac OS, you must right-click on the appropriate application link below and select 'Save Page As' to download the application.
Adobe Connect meeting applications are backward compatible with earlier versions of Adobe Connect. Please note that although there is currently no application for Linux, users on Linux (Ubuntu, Red Hat, and OpenSUSE) can still attend, host, or present in meetings in the browser.
