As we all know, Outlook 2007 and 2010 use the Microsoft Word rendering engine for displaying HTML emails. The desktop application of MS Word allows you to choose from a few different layout views but Outlook uses the “Web Layout” view which is much like a WYSIWYG editor because it outputs its own HTML code.
- Somehow I turned on the display paragraph marks, spaces, and other special characters in my outlook 2007 new email messages and I can't find a way to turn it off. I am looking for the outlook equivalent of the Word 2007 Show/Hide command that is in the paragraph section of the toolbar ribbon, whose icon in the toolbar is a paragraph mark.
- This tip should work for Outlook 2003, 2007, 2010 and probably most older and newer versions. This fix will only apply to emails that are being composed in HTML or Rich text. The first thing you need to do is open up Outlook and got to the Tools menu, then select options.

- To open a Search Folder in a non-default data file, use this format, wrapping the path in quotes because it contains spaces: Outlook.exe /select 'outlook: alias@domain.com search folders unread mail' Choose the Startup Module. If you choose a Mail folder as your startup folder, Outlook should start in the Mail module.
In outlook for mac (version 16.35) I created a new folder with one blank spot at the end of the name. Immediately I got the error message (and every 5 minutes since the moment 10 days ago...) I realised my mistake and erased the folder.
I probably should have just re-named it I know now.
Unfortunately I can not find the folder anywhere.
It is not in gmail trash folder as the error states: (/[Gmail]/Papierkorb/_R...... /)
I have spent hours trying to sort this but I do not find any answer to my problem on the net.
Any help for somebody who does not know much about computers.... ?
