These Carcano M91 TS Carbine Rifles, chambered in 6.5x52mm are original rifles from the Italian Carabinieri and have been in storage for the past 50 years. The M91 TS was built to a carbine, and are designed to be a smaller frame than other bolt action rifles in the time period. The result is a carbine which is quick and accurate.

The carbine retains 50% original blue finish with a smooth brown patina on the barrel, scattered blue finish on the receiver mixed with smooth gray and almost all of the finish on the magazine housing, (bottom plate absent).

- Incidentally, there is no evidence to support the often-read and repeated rumour that any M38's were converted from 7,35x51 Carcano to 6,5x52 Carcano (by changing the barrel), according to Hobbs. But a number of M 38 guns in 7,35 mms were made using older 6,5 mms barrels and receivers, the markings of which may still be found partially visible.
