Hello all,I believe I'm trying to accomplish the impossible, but I'm hoping someone might have an answer.I'm trying to create a double stacked bar chart, with a line chart. I've managed to create a double stacked bar chart, but I can't get a line chart. I want the line chart to straddle the groups.If you create a Stacked Bar chart with a Line Chart (on second axis), you'll see what I'm trying to accomplish. Grid lines not printing
I've got a weird one here--one of the people I support has an issue where a spreadsheet they are trying to print always prints without gridlines. THe gridlines show up in print preview, and print fine from other machines. I can't find anything in the Excel options menu that seems to apply. Any ideas? Why does typing jump up several lines?
I am editing a long document, and when I am typing in new information, in the middle of a word, the typing jumps up to another line in the document. I have also experienced a total loss of information. This problem is quite frustrating. Laptop? Search SOP Sales Line Item Comment Lines
I am trying to use Smartlist to search the SOP sales line item comments. I can find the SOP Document comments, but how do i link the Sales Line Item Comments to a SmartlistDebbie Debbie,I don't see the sales line item comments as available fields in the Sales Line Item SmartList. I see Comment 1, Comment 2, etc., but those are bringing in the comments from the SOP Transaction (header), not the line items. I don't know if that is by design or was overlooked. In any case, doesn't look like there is a way to bring those in without using SmartList Builder at this point....
Crop white space on chart
I created a chart and got it the right size so it can fit on the page. However, there is about four inches of white space that I cannot get rid of. If I decrease the size of the whole chart area, it changes the size of the graph, font included. The only method I know how of getting rid of the white space is increasing the size of my graph but it does not fit on the page anymore. I DO NOT WANT THIS TO HAPPEN.Ideally, I would like to 'crop' out the white space of the chart area without affecting the size of my graph.Please help!!!! This is so frustrating :sThanks so much......

Line break in custom date format?
I want to display the date like this: Ddddd, MM/DD/YY For example 'Monday, 12/08/2009'. However, I want a line break after the comma so that the spelled-out day and date are on different lines in the same cell. It's harder than it sounds. In the cell, the value is '12/08/2009'. But the format makes it display as Monday, 12/08/2009. I can't just put an alt+enter in the middle of the date value, as that value would no longer make sense. Example: Plotting by year (x axis) as stacked bar sales by product line in $ (y axis 1), the bar next to the stack for each year is total company profit in $ (y axis 1), the line would be the number of housing units started in the year (y axis 2). How do I get my Excel time-line column chart to display in color?
I have Excel 2002. I am trying to create a clustered column chart with a time-scale x-axis. It seems to create the chart, but it limits it to black and white, with skinny little columns that you can hardly distinguish. During a long and painful support case, I had to change the organization’s name.While I was getting my system back in working order after $750plus support calls, I had a large number of off line users entering a lot of work.These users now are unable to go online. Linea increase
I have been using IF statements but specific values are not accurate enough. I want to increase my initial value gradually. I.E between 50 - 100 increase values by 5 to evenutally 0 so 50 would become 55 and 100 would stay 100. I require a linea increase to improve accuracy. If you write e.i. 100 in A1, then remember to use the '$'-sign around A and 1. You might write a statement (with the increasement of 5 and so on) and then copy the formula down to begin with. Determining error associated with polynomial trend lines.
I have a plot that requires a polynomial trend line to the fourth power that has error associated with the y-axis values only. From this point on, I'm relying on the equation displayed by excel to further manipulate that data, which I have done and double checked with excel and it's corrrect. To shift all notes on a page to the left or right, click the “Insert” tab and click the “Insert Space” button. Place your mouse pointer on the left or right sides of the page section.
